Responsibilities
- Build frontend and backend software features.
- Design efficient architecture to meet customer requirements.
- Build highly scalable systems handling substantial traffic.
- Develop complex, heavy-load backend pipelines with message queue systems.
- Solve performance and concurrency issues and propose technical solutions.
- Guide product decisions and the team roadmap from an engineering perspective.
- Build, operate, and architect resilient, high-throughput systems.
- Use observability practices to monitor, log, trace, diagnose problems, and optimize performance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js or React.
- Proven experience developing complex, heavy-load backend pipelines, including message queue systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining OpenAPI specifications.
- Strong teamwork and a collaborative engineering approach.
- Kubernetes experience with AWS or GCP is desired.
- Experience building and maintaining modern CI/CD pipelines is desired.
- Experience with scalable systems, observability, monitoring, logging, or tracing is desired.
- Comfort working asynchronously in a highly distributed, remote-first environment across multiple time zones is desired.
