Responsibilities
- Automate operations and reduce manual operational work through software and AI/GenAI technologies.
- Design, build, deploy, support, monitor, and optimize reliable, scalable, and high-performing services and infrastructure.
- Manage and scale distributed systems across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Operate large fleets of systems using automation and configuration platforms.
- Troubleshoot Linux systems, networking, load balancing, containers, and distributed services at scale.
- Participate in incident and problem management, including root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with application teams to support platforms and application stacks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused roles.
- Advanced programming or scripting experience with Python, Bash, Lua, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as Oracle and MongoDB.
- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based source control, release engineering, and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of systems and infrastructure fundamentals, Linux internals, networking protocols, and distributed system components.
- Experience with Puppet, Ansible, or Spinnaker for automation and configuration.
- Proficiency with TLS/SSL, DNS, load balancers, and large-scale troubleshooting.
- Experience with security standards, cryptography, enterprise policies, incident management, problem management, and RCA.
- Strong experience with Nginx, Envoy, or NetScaler for networking and load balancing is preferred.
- Understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage, secrets, deployments, and containerization.
- Hands-on experience with AliCloud, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving abilities.
