Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and make architectural and design decisions using Java.
- Write robust, manageable code and take end-to-end responsibility for product development.
- Perform alpha testing and code reviews.
- Provide technical leadership and proactive contributions to solution design and implementation.
- Develop and evolve casino game engine components and web-based applications for mobile devices.
- Collaborate with distributed development teams, primarily those based in the United States.
Requirements
- Higher education in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of Java experience, ideally in game development or the iGaming industry.
- Deep knowledge of Java Core and the Java Collection API.
- Experience with source control, build, and tracking tools including Git, Maven, and Jira.
- Knowledge of common patterns and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with web applications and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern Java versions up to Java 25.
- Preferred: understanding of functional programming in Java using Vavr, formerly Javaslang.
- Curious mindset, excellent communication, and willingness to take technical ownership.
