Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and microservices.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support production deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience designing and developing enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+/11+/17 and Spring Boot.
- Expertise developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with Git and Maven or Gradle.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate, unit testing, and code quality tools.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Preferred experience with Spring Cloud, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure, and banking or financial services.
- Excellent customer-facing, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
