Responsibilities
- Design and build secure full stack banking solutions with an emphasis on backend development and enterprise integration.
- Develop APIs, microservices and event-based integrations connecting banking, digital, data, vendor and enterprise services.
- Support cloud and container platforms, automate delivery processes, and contribute across release, support and continuous improvement.
- Review engineering work and vendor designs and contribute to technical decisions.
- Resolve complex technical issues and help ensure solutions meet security, reliability, performance and compliance requirements.
- Support other engineers through technical guidance and solution assessment.
Requirements
- Full stack engineering capability using Java or .NET, with understanding of applications, integration, data, infrastructure, security and operations.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs, microservices, event-based solutions and enterprise integrations.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and container platforms such as Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
- Strong database experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including SQL, performance tuning, configuration and troubleshooting.
- DevSecOps capability across continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, security scanning and deployment practices.
- Strong solution design, problem-solving and technical communication skills.
- Banking domain experience is highly regarded and considered a strong advantage.
