Responsibilities
- Develop and commercialize machine learning solutions such as the Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine SDK on Qualcomm SoCs.
- Build software features in Qualcomm’s machine learning stack and enable AI/ML solutions across multiple platforms.
- Deploy large C/C++ dependency stacks using software engineering best practices.
- Enhance ML solutions based on advances in software engineering, machine learning, industry, and academia.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineering, and globally distributed teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 1+ year or a PhD in a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant software development experience.
- At least 2 years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong C and C++ development skills and experience with embedded systems development.
- Strong understanding of processor architecture, system design fundamentals, operating-system concepts, and software debugging.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns is preferred.
- Linux kernel or driver development experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, analytical, and collaboration skills.
