Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Understand customer pain points and design end-to-end solutions to address them
- Solicit feedback from customers and colleagues and improve products through rapid iteration
- Develop technical solutions through high-level system design, prototyping, application development, and data integration
- Use Palantir products, open-source technologies, and custom-built tools to solve complex customer problems
- Work directly with customers and internal teams to accommodate regulatory, data, and user-environment constraints
- Support deployments and deliver technical outcomes for customers
Requirements
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar programming languages
- Understanding of how technical decisions affect the users of the software being built
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams in rapidly changing environments with dynamic objectives
- Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Willingness and ability to travel within Japan as needed
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility and willingness to obtain SCI
- Experience with logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis is a plus
