Base Salary
$135k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand critical problems and design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects in small teams with minimal supervision.
- Discuss architecture with engineers, work with massive-scale data, and build custom web applications.
- Engage customer executives and establish strategy for the team.
- Collaborate with internal product teams, other Forward Deployed Software Engineers, Deployment Strategists, and external customers.
- Travel to client sites as needed, with 25–50% travel preferred depending on team and location.
Requirements
- Have an active US security clearance or be eligible and willing to obtain one.
- Have an engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Be proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Be able to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal direction.
- Be comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical teams in evolving environments.
- Be interested in using large-scale data to solve valuable business problems.
