Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex software solutions and own significant product components, modules, or workstreams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, onboarding support, and knowledge sharing for engineers.
- Review architecture, code, designs, and technical deliverables while contributing to technical roadmap execution.
- Lead root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, automation, performance improvement, and scalability initiatives.
- Support product releases, engineering readiness, defect reduction, and engineering productivity efforts.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Support, and Customer Experience teams.
- Participate in hiring, interviewing, workforce readiness, and capability development activities.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience as a software engineer on complex software projects with strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, Python, or .NET and experience developing scalable, robust software.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
- Knowledge of architecture design, microservices, containers such as Docker and Kubernetes, messaging queues, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Strong system-level troubleshooting and debugging skills and experience working across geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex technical deliverables, technical discussions, reviews, mentoring, and coaching.
- Preferred bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, or willingness to obtain certifications through Kyndryl.
- Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
