Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and optimize cloud deployments and automation for Digital Markets Infrastructure applications.
- Design and manage Kubernetes-based container orchestration solutions.
- Implement, maintain, and optimize Docker-based containerization for services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling using Terraform.
- Integrate security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and other teams on application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Support production environments, application uptime, release testing, and deployment activities.
- Participate in an on-call rota during business hours and provide occasional weekend support.
- Keep current with DevOps, cloud infrastructure, tools, and industry practices.
Requirements
- Professional experience in DevOps and infrastructure management.
- A computer science, software engineering, or relevant technical background.
- Enterprise experience with Azure or AWS, preferably Azure.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Experience managing Azure workloads, provisioning, and deployments.
- Deep knowledge of cloud and DevOps security best practices.
- Knowledge of scaling, availability, cloud resiliency models, patterns, and designs.
- Ability to anticipate infrastructure challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Interest in new technologies and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with blockchain or distributed ledger technology is desirable.
- Interest in financial markets and experience working on large projects.
