Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions from requirements and system design through coding, testing, deployment, and operations in a large-scale AWS distributed environment.
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and finance stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver technical solutions.
- Mentor teammates through code reviews and technical guidance while improving code quality, security, readability, and maintainability.
- Identify operational root causes and drive permanent fixes to improve system reliability and operational practices.
- Evaluate technologies and architectural approaches for high-scale data processing and make adoption recommendations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
