Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the software development environment.
- Maintain documentation and work instructions supporting high-maturity software engineering standards and processes.
- Configure, maintain, and manage software development tools, services, and server installations.
- Tune, patch, harden, and manage access controls for Linux operating systems.
- Configure and maintain networking routers and servers.
- Support, design, develop, integrate, and test operational software components throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, program management, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and at least 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with Linux operating system tuning, patching, hardening, and access control.
- Experience configuring, maintaining, and managing software development tools, services, and server installations.
- Experience configuring and maintaining networking routers and servers.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
- Preferred: knowledge of NIST, DISA STIGs, and the Risk Management Framework.
- Preferred: software development lifecycle experience using C/C++.
- Preferred: experience in software testing or debugging source code.
