Responsibilities
- Deliver and create programs to modernize and scale the platform through technology upgrades.
- Build software applications and deliver enhancements supporting fund accounting and trade processing.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to develop software solutions using agile methodologies.
- Oversee system upgrades and features for resiliency, capacity improvements, and automation.
- Manage operational issues with DevOps teams and leverage CI/CD platforms.
- Continuously improve platforms using the latest technologies.
- Help transition applications to cloud platforms for enhanced stability and performance.
- Collaborate with other technology teams on cross-departmental initiatives.
Requirements
- 3-12 years of professional software development experience with a focus on .Net technologies.
- Strong SQL development skills and experience with large-scale data warehouses.
- Experience with messaging architectures and high-volume transaction processing systems.
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful services.
- Excellent verbal communication and strong problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of accounting, settlement, and affirmation processing for financial products.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Redis and MongoDB.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience in Java and designing interactive web interfaces using Angular/React.
- Experience with prime broker reconciliation software.
