Responsibilities
- Create and deliver programs that modernize and scale the platform through technology upgrades, cloud adoption, business-process re-architecture, and tactical development.
- Build software applications and enhancements supporting fund accounting and trade processing.
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop software solutions.
- Oversee system upgrades and features that improve resiliency, capacity, automation, controls, and integrations with internal and external vendors and services.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to resolve operational issues and use CI/CD platforms and DevOps practices.
- Transition selected applications to cloud platforms to improve stability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with technology teams on cross-departmental initiatives and continuously improve platforms.
Requirements
- 3–12 years of professional software development experience focused on .NET-based technologies.
- Strong SQL development experience and experience building large-scale data warehouses.
- Experience with messaging architectures, high-volume streaming, and/or transaction-processing systems.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful services.
- Experience building microservices on Kubernetes-based platforms and AWS.
- Experience with Java and interactive web interfaces using Angular or React.
- Familiarity with Redis and MongoDB databases.
- Knowledge of accounting, settlement, and affirmation processing for a range of financial products.
- Experience with industry-known prime broker reconciliation software.
- Strong verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with knowledge of agile methodologies and a commitment to high ethical standards.
