Responsibilities
- Design robust cloud-native application components using Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, and Azure API Management.
- Develop data models, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance optimizations in Azure SQL.
- Configure and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for build, testing, and deployment automation.
- Develop and manage secure API integrations using Azure API Management.
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Review and refactor application code and database logic to improve maintainability and resilience.
- Apply secure coding and cloud security practices to protect financial and client data.
- Monitor application and database performance and resolve stability issues.
- Coordinate with quality engineering teams on test strategies, test data, and automated testing.
- Document solution designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
- Evaluate Azure features, development practices, and automation opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of software development experience in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, including pipeline configuration, repository management, and testing and deployment integrations.
- Advanced proficiency with Azure SQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization for high-volume and regulatory-sensitive data.
- Experience with Azure API Management, including API design, policy configuration, versioning, and observability.
- Familiarity with asset and wealth management concepts, including portfolio data, transaction flows, and reporting needs.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- Preferred Azure certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
