Responsibilities

  • Develop cloud-native infrastructure, software-defined storage, and virtualization platforms.
  • Design and troubleshoot systems software involving operating system internals, concurrency, memory management, performance, and systems-level debugging.
  • Develop or troubleshoot storage and networking subsystems, kernel modules, and device drivers.
  • Work with distributed storage platforms, virtualization technologies, and virtualized networking and storage infrastructure.
  • Operate and support infrastructure environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
  • Use automation, observability, and infrastructure-as-code tools to support software development and operations.
  • Resolve technical blockers independently and communicate risks and technical decisions across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in systems software engineering, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or storage platform development.
  • Strong programming expertise in C/C++ and Python.
  • Deep understanding of operating systems internals, concurrency, memory management, performance optimization, and systems-level debugging.
  • Hands-on experience with software-defined storage, distributed storage platforms, or enterprise infrastructure software.
  • Experience with KVM/QEMU, libvirt, virtio, and virtualized networking and storage infrastructure.
  • Experience with storage and networking subsystems, kernel modules, device drivers, and technologies such as NVMe, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, S3, or distributed block, object, and file storage.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, performance tuning, communication, collaboration, and technical risk-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
