Responsibilities
- Design and develop SOAP services and REST API endpoints for enterprise integrations.
- Build, enhance, and optimize Qlik SaaS dashboards, visualizations, data models, and queries.
- Integrate APIs with existing systems, payment gateways, ERP systems, and vendor portals using effective data transformations.
- Perform unit, integration, manual, functional, regression, and database testing, including API testing and validation of dashboards, reports, and audit logs.
- Create and maintain API, data contract, and Qlik SaaS documentation.
- Monitor production services and dashboards, identify incidents, and support timely resolution.
- Apply secure development practices covering authentication, authorization, input validation, rate control, and sensitive data protection.
- Participate in code reviews, peer discussions, continuous improvement, and collaborative Agile delivery.
- Prepare deployment scripts, validate changes in lower environments, and coordinate day-shift deployment activities with operations.
- Create and manage anonymized test datasets in compliance with data regulations.
Requirements
- Three to six years of professional developer experience on integration and analytics projects in medium- or large-scale environments.
- Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and consuming SOAP web services, including request and response handling and fault management.
- Experience creating REST APIs using common frameworks with structured resource design and consistent status code usage.
- Practical Qlik SaaS experience including data loading, data model creation, and dashboard design.
- Understanding of JSON, XML, data mapping, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency writing efficient queries and working with relational or cloud data sources.
- Familiarity with version control tools, branching strategies, and collaborative development practices.
- Ability to analyze requirements, estimate development effort, and divide work into sprint-aligned tasks.
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams and ability to present technical options clearly.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices for integrations and protection of sensitive information.
- Ability to adapt to new tools and cloud services involving Qlik SaaS, integration monitoring, or automated testing.
- Preferred exposure to API management platforms or gateways supporting throttling, routing, and observability.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid model, manage delivery expectations, and work without travel.
