Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable backend solutions using modern Python frameworks.
- Design, build, and integrate LLM-powered features including RAG pipelines, AI agents, and tool or function calling.
- Design and maintain RESTful and optionally GraphQL APIs.
- Build event-driven systems and manage distributed or background job processing.
- Oversee cloud deployments and infrastructure on Azure and GCP.
- Implement CI/CD, observability, and cost and performance optimization for AI workloads.
- Lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and uphold high engineering standards.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Python-based backend development and cloud-native application delivery.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, API design, asynchronous programming, event-driven systems, and background jobs.
- Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQLAlchemy.
- Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Terraform, and Pytest.
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI, or Vertex AI.
- Experience with prompt engineering, AI agents, RAG, embeddings, retrieval strategies, and vector databases.
- Experience with AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, LlamaIndex, and MCP.
- Preferred experience with LLM operations and evaluation, model tuning, data pipelines, queues, streaming responses, API hardening, message brokers, security and governance, and testing or quality tooling.
