Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot software components for secure, stable, and scalable technical products and systems.
- Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
- Consider upstream and downstream systems and the technical implications of proposed solutions.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation, while validating outputs.
- Apply technical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems of basic complexity.
- Gather and analyze large, diverse datasets to identify problems and support decision-making.
- Apply software development life cycle processes, methodologies, and skills to build secure and stable systems.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 2 years of applied experience for the specified regions.
- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and validate generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to agile methodologies, continuous delivery, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack Java enterprise application development, Java 17 or later, microservices, AWS deployment, Terraform, and relational database experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
