Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of systems and services.
- Define secure and scalable solutions for data collection, data processing, machine learning, and customer-facing APIs.
- Develop and incorporate machine learning and automated reasoning techniques into customer capabilities.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers on other teams, and product managers to deliver impactful projects.
- Decompose complex problems and address system interdependencies and limitations.
- Guide engineering practices involving performance, scalability, architecture, and software development patterns.
- Own systems end to end, investigate logs and metrics, and deliver reliable distributed services.
- Mentor junior developers and collaborate with principal engineers to improve software quality.
Requirements
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of experience with computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
