Base Salary

$124k - $196k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and document software tools, custom scripts, and automated workflows for Legal Department processes.
  • Integrate and expand CounselLink, Anaqua, and DocuSign CLM with enterprise systems, APIs, custom tools, and automated data pipelines.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions for legal intake triage, contract automation, IP operations, and spend analytics.
  • Collaborate with legal operations, attorneys, paralegals, IT, and Finance to translate legal workflows into scalable software solutions.
  • Maintain user documentation, system architectures, and infrastructure for stable and secure internal tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional software development or automation engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and document complete end-to-end solutions.
  • Strong programming foundation in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience involving RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn legal-team operations and corporate law.
  • Preferred experience includes internal workflow integrations, legal technology platforms, generative AI, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and low-code/no-code internal tool builders.
  • Ability to work independently, operate proactively in a fast-paced multifunctional environment, and explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of 124,000 USD to 195,500 USD, determined by location, experience, and comparable employee pay.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
