Base Salary
$126k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop well-defined software features and components under senior engineer direction.
- Write maintainable code, unit tests, and ServiceNow workflows, business rules, forms, dashboards, plugins, and applications.
- Contribute to AI-native features through prompt design assistance, API integration, and basic evaluation.
- Work on features through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance with guidance.
- Troubleshoot development, staging, and customer-reported issues; participate in triage, bug fixing, and root-cause analysis.
- Learn and contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment pipelines, secure coding, and responsible customer-data handling.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, design reviews, sprint planning, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
- Handle support tickets and contribute to customer documentation and internal knowledge bases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or JavaScript, with willingness to learn additional languages.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including version control, testing, and debugging.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL, plus familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web services.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts; hands-on LLM or AI API experience is a plus.
- ServiceNow platform experience or coursework is a plus.
- Agile development experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, and independent task-management abilities.

- Base pay of $125,700-$194,800, plus equity when applicable and variable or incentive compensation.
