Base Salary
$128k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale, complex software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices.
- Lead and execute complex software projects and lead moderate-sized projects as needed.
- Define software specifications and test plans for test benches and laboratory tools.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers on requirements analysis, project scheduling, and software troubleshooting.
- Work with application and systems teams to understand requirements and translate them into software designs.
- Troubleshoot complex software problems and test code and enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field such as computer science, information management, software or systems engineering, cybersecurity, or mathematics.
- At least 8 years of related experience; the minimum qualifications also state 10–15 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Java programming and experience with microservice architecture and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented technology, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong software diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, extensive project management and Applied Materials product development lifecycle experience, leadership experience, and semiconductor, healthcare, or medical equipment industry experience.
