Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative Seller Center features to improve the online retail experience.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and other developers.
- Use the SCAYLE platform to manage product and order data efficiently.
- Improve application performance by optimizing SQL queries.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical standards and code quality.
- Provide technical support and analyze and resolve issues to maintain stable system operations.
- Identify and evaluate AI-supported features to optimize and automate workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with Django 5.x, Tailwind, HTMX, or comparable lightweight JavaScript frameworks, or willingness to learn them.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or comparable data stores.
- Strong commitment to well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and high codebase quality.
- Experience working in an English-speaking environment.
- Very good German comprehension at minimum C1 level; active German language skills are advantageous but not required.
- Very good Python programming skills and extensive Django experience are preferred.
- Frontend experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is preferred.
- Open-source contributions and experience with greenfield projects or startup environments are advantageous.
- Ability to rapidly evolve products and adapt them toward product-market fit is advantageous.
