Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Develop background workers, event-driven systems, and async processing pipelines.
- Define and enforce backend architecture patterns, including API design standards and error handling.
- Collaborate with product and feature teams to deliver shared platform services.
- Integrate and operate AI agents within engineering workflows.
- Contribute to the design and development of corporate AI-agent tooling.
- Own and evolve Kubernetes infrastructure, including Helm chart management.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipeline templates shared across engineering teams.
- Develop internal developer platform tooling to improve self-service capabilities.
- Drive observability best practices using tools like Datadog and Prometheus.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience with proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Go/Java.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including scheduling and resource management.
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in designing and operating distributed backend systems.
- Experience developing internal developer tooling and platform abstractions.
- Practical experience working with LLMs and AI agents.
- A DevOps mindset focused on deployment safety and code lifecycle management.
