Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of the Policy Engine and Governance domain.
- Design highly available microservices and maintain performance-critical C++ code.
- Implement robust backend applications for complex rule evaluations.
- Act as a technical leader, collaborating with Product and engineering teams.
- Ensure service robustness and participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance development workflows while applying critical judgment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in modern backend languages and willingness to work with C++.
- Deep understanding of system design, microservices architecture, and distributed SQL databases.
- Proven track record of ownership in complex product domains.
- Hands-on experience with AI development tools and critical engineering judgment.
- Experience with cloud and backend technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
