Responsibilities
- Understand business objectives and develop software modifications based on requirements.
- Develop modifications and perform custom code uplift using technical design documents and Blue Yonder WMS guidelines.
- Conduct peer reviews of code and documentation.
- Perform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for software changes.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues, including code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployment needs while working in customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery and provide technical guidance to assigned engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline; MCA and MSc in Computer Science are also listed as examples.
- 3–5 years of total experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Ext JS, and PL/SQL.
- Prior experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is an advantage.
- Experience with test management and test execution.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source control, operating systems, command-line usage, and Jira.
- Experience with tools including Cursor AI, Replit AI, GitHub Copilot, SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio, and Jenkins.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, make informed decisions, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements.
- Strong written, verbal, collaboration, and professional relationship-building skills.
