Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of ADAS feature modules, including perception preprocessing, object fusion, scene interpretation, and vehicle-control interface layers.
- Analyze ADAS software architecture for real-time performance, latency constraints, and ASIL B/C/D safety compliance.
- Own and manage ADAS L2 feature development and lead systems engineering teams.
- Develop MIL, SIL, and HIL test environments with plant models, vehicle dynamics, sensor emulation, actuator simulation, and scenario replay.
- Design scenario libraries and execute SOTIF validation covering nominal, boundary, fault-injection, sensor-degradation, and ODD-stress scenarios.
- Drive ADAS technology decisions involving AUTOSAR Adaptive, service-oriented architecture, centralized compute, zone controllers, and SDV evolution.
- Develop ADAS features using NVIDIA, Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, and TI platforms.
- Lead root-cause analysis for critical software defects and execute corrective and preventive actions.
- Present program status, risks, and architecture decisions to customers and senior management.
- Support presales activities, capability demonstrations, RFP responses, and ADAS solution architecture for new business.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required; the posting also specifies 6–10 years in the ADAS, automotive embedded, or SDV domain.
- Expertise in ADAS system engineering and ISO 26262 Parts 3 and 4 for ASIL B/C/D.
- Strong ADAS system architecture experience covering sensor topology, compute partitioning, actuation systems, and network communication.
- Deep functional safety experience with safety plans, safety cases, GSN, CAE, ASIL allocation, and confirmation measures.
- Proven technical leadership of systems engineering teams delivering ADAS engineering artifacts.
- Expertise in requirements management using DOORS NG, Polarion, or Codebeamer.
- In-depth SOTIF and ISO 21448 analysis experience, including functional insufficiency identification and validation strategy.
- Comprehensive ASPICE Level 3 experience across SYS 1–SYS 5 and audit readiness.
- Experience with MBSE, SysML, MagicDraw, and related architecture-modeling and traceability tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of UNECE R152, AEB, R157, ALKS, and Euro NCAP ADAS testing protocols is preferred.
- Familiarity with ANSYS medini analyze, PTC Integrity Safety Case, or Item Tool Belt is preferred.
- Exposure to connected ADAS, V2X architecture, cloud-assisted ADAS services, centralized compute, and zone-controller integration is preferred.
- BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
