Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of ADAS L2 feature modules covering perception preprocessing, object fusion, scene interpretation, and vehicle control interfaces.
- Perform ADAS software architecture analysis for real-time performance, latency constraints, and ASIL B/C/D safety compliance.
- Develop MIL, SIL, and HIL test environments with plant models, vehicle dynamics, sensor emulation, actuator simulation, and scenario replay.
- Create scenario libraries and execute SOTIF validation across nominal, boundary-condition, fault-injection, sensor-degradation, and ODD stress scenarios.
- Drive ADAS technology decisions involving AUTOSAR Adaptive, service-oriented architecture, central compute migration, and software-defined vehicle evolution.
- Lead defect root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
- Present program status, risks, and architecture decisions to customers and senior management.
- Support presales through capability demonstrations, RFP responses, and ADAS solution architecture.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required; the posting also references six to ten years in the ADAS, automotive embedded, or SDV domain.
- BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
- Expertise in ADAS system engineering, ISO 26262 Parts 3 and 4, and ASIL B/C/D lifecycle activities.
- Strong ADAS system architecture experience covering sensor topology, compute partitioning, actuation systems, and network communication.
- Experience with functional safety planning, safety cases, GSN, CAE, ASIL allocation, and confirmation measures.
- Technical leadership of systems engineering teams delivering ADAS engineering artifacts.
- Requirements management experience using DOORS NG, Polarion, or Codebeamer.
- In-depth SOTIF and ISO 21448 analysis experience, including functional insufficiency identification and validation strategy.
- ASPICE Level 3 compliance experience across SYS 1 through SYS 5 and audit readiness.
- Preferred experience with MBSE, SysML, MagicDraw, ADAS regulatory and testing protocols, formal safety analysis tools, connected ADAS/V2X architectures, and centralized compute with zone controllers.
