Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise Java applications.
- Build and enhance microservices and RESTful APIs supporting complex business processes.
- Integrate applications with Oracle databases and optimize SQL execution and performance.
- Develop and support messaging solutions using JMS, Kafka, or similar event-driven technologies.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, continuous improvement, and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications with Java.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience with Oracle databases, SQL development, and performance tuning.
- Experience with JMS, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability tools.
- Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and software development best practices.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Financial Services experience in areas such as Trading, Capital Markets, or Wealth Management is helpful.
- Exposure to GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Gemini, or similar generative AI tools and frameworks is helpful.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps tools, automation, or Infrastructure as Code is helpful.
- Experience contributing to application architecture and technical strategy discussions is helpful.
