Responsibilities
- Evolve Reddit’s cross-platform design system by developing reusable components.
- Collaborate with product teams, designers, and engineers to support real product needs.
- Improve performance at scale through architecture and performance-focused practices.
- Advance accessibility by building accessible components and documentation.
- Strengthen developer experience with shared tooling and platform improvements.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading projects.
- Experience building and maintaining shared UI infrastructure like design systems.
- Strong experience with modern Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and interest in building accessible experiences.
