Base Salary

$196k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build iOS features using modern declarative UI and unidirectional state architecture.
  • Own complex features end-to-end from technical design through launch and iteration.
  • Partner with product and design to create polished, accessible iOS experiences.
  • Collaborate with backend, Android, and web engineers to maintain consistent feature behavior and data across platforms.
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code and design reviews.
  • Mentor other engineers and improve iOS engineering practices as the team scales.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mobile app performance and reliability issues.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional iOS engineering experience, including shipping and maintaining features in a large-scale production consumer app.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS architecture, including SwiftUI, unidirectional state management such as MVI, MVVM, or Redux-style approaches, and dependency injection.
  • Experience partnering with backend and Android or web engineers to shape APIs and maintain cross-platform consistency.
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex features from technical design through launch and iteration.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team-level technical decisions.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity on a newly formed team establishing new iOS surfaces.
  • Understanding of mobile app performance, accessibility, and release and CI practices for a large-scale consumer app.
