Base Salary
$175k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Front’s cross-platform client-side codebase.
- Improve the user experience and performance of the React Native mobile application.
- Work at the native level to expose Android and iOS APIs and improve performance.
- Serve as a cross-functional subject-matter expert on the Android and iOS ecosystems.
- Collaborate with Electron and web counterparts to enable cross-platform feature delivery.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining fast, reliable, real-time mobile applications.
- Experience with C/C++ and React Native.
- A product-minded approach focused on building a strong user experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, high-growth environment.
- Ability to evaluate engineering trade-offs pragmatically.
- Experience with JNI, Android NDK, and Kotlin is a bonus.
- Experience with TypeScript is a bonus.
