Base Salary
$166k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of mobile features across iOS and Android.
- Build intuitive and reliable patient-facing experiences with React Native.
- Partner with Product, Design, and backend engineers.
- Evolve the mobile architecture and contribute to the long-term success of the mobile platform.
- Improve engineering quality through testing and performance optimization.
- Release and monitor mobile features.
- Own projects from design through delivery and make informed tradeoffs.
- Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years building production mobile applications.
- At least 3 years of experience with React Native, TypeScript, and modern React development.
- Experience shipping mobile features end to end from design through release and monitoring.
- Working knowledge of native iOS technologies and Android technologies.
- Experience owning projects from design through delivery, making tradeoffs, and communicating rationale.
- Ability to collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners, surface risks early, and contribute to clear scope and estimates.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, including understanding their benefits, risks, and need for human judgment.
- Preferred: experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play.
- Preferred: experience with mobile CI/CD and automated release pipelines.
- Preferred: experience building AI-powered or LLM-enabled mobile features.
- Preferred: familiarity with mobile observability and crash reporting tools such as Datadog, Crashlytics, or Sentry.
- Preferred: experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
