Base Salary

$118k - $130k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in the software development lifecycle by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and resilient software solutions.
  • Contribute to software architecture design and integrate software components under the guidance of more experienced engineers.
  • Support testing protocols, software quality and reliability efforts, and system performance monitoring and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members on software projects aligned with business goals.
  • Learn and apply continuous integration and deployment best practices to improve the development process.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
  • At least two years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related occupation is required.
  • At least two years of experience building backend services in Go, Java, or Python with REST or gRPC and microservices is required.
  • At least two years of experience with software development methodologies is required.
  • At least one year of experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, or Cosmos DB is required.
  • At least one year of experience with Docker and Kubernetes is required.
  • At least one year of experience with cloud operations on Azure, AWS, or GCP is required.
  • At least one year of experience with observability tools and practices, including metrics, logging, and tracing, is required.
  • At least one year of experience with CI/CD and Git-based workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is required.
  • At least one year of experience with unit and integration testing, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum in production is required.
  • The preferred candidate is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, collaborative, organized, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
