Base Salary
$175k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to a team developing data products with Golang and Python.
- Design, develop, test, integrate, customize, deploy, and support software and web applications.
- Write SQL queries for data exploration in ClickHouse and query data using Snowflake.
- Deploy data products to AWS, including EKS, EMR, RDS, and S3.
- Schedule and monitor workflows using Airflow and develop dashboards using Looker.
- Build Jenkins pipelines and perform application monitoring and alerting with Grafana.
- Lead architecture and design decisions, present technical choices, and collaborate with stakeholders on requirements.
- Oversee documentation, software releases, performance metrics, testing, and delivery against schedule, specifications, and budget.
- Provide guidance and support to engineers, train junior Software Development Engineers and non-technical personnel, and act as a technical contact for vendors and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Seven years of experience developing data products using Golang and Python.
- Five years of experience writing SQL queries for data exploration in ClickHouse, querying Snowflake, deploying data products to AWS including EKS, EMR, RDS, and S3, scheduling and monitoring workflows with Airflow, developing dashboards with Looker, and using GitHub for version control.
- Two years of experience building Jenkins pipelines and performing application monitoring and alerting with Grafana.
