Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to a team developing data processing software with Apache Flink.
- Design ETL data pipelines using Flink, Spark, Kafka, AWS EMR, Azkaban, and Airflow.
- Develop streaming data pipelines using Apache Kafka and store structured data using HBase.
- Develop online video advertising technologies, including ad-serving platforms, ad-decisioning systems, and audience-targeting systems.
- Use AWS services including S3, EC2, CloudWatch, and IAM for data storage, service operation, monitoring, and permissions management.
- Automate Unix tasks using Linux CLI and Bash scripting.
- Support application development, customization, integration, testing, software updates, and release rollouts.
- Document development activity, software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, requirements, and recommendations.
- Analyze integration needs, collaborate with stakeholders, review relevant practices and literature, and work with Quality Assurance to evaluate specifications.
- Guide and mentor junior-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Seven years of experience developing data processing software using Apache Flink.
- Five years of experience designing ETL pipelines with Flink, Spark, Kafka, AWS EMR, Azkaban, and Airflow; storing structured data with HBase; and developing online video advertising technologies.
- Three years of experience developing streaming Kafka pipelines, using AWS services including S3, EC2, CloudWatch, and IAM, and automating Unix tasks with Linux CLI and Bash scripting.
Benefits
- Base salary of $175,427.00 to $200,000.00 per year.
