Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services for artifact hosting and client distribution.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines to enhance production rollout efficiency.
- Develop rollout strategies and rollback mechanisms for safe software releases.
- Build internal tooling and dashboards to boost operational efficiency.
- Modernize legacy distribution systems to scalable, cloud-native architectures.
- Create reusable SDKs and shared tooling for integration across Postman applications.
- Implement observability features to enhance system reliability.
- Collaborate with various teams to improve the software delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building scalable backend services.
- Strong experience in designing REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Node.js.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3 and Lambda.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD systems, preferably GitHub Actions.
- Experience in building internal developer platforms or deployment tooling.
- Familiarity with CDN architectures and software distribution platforms.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
