Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal delivery, architecture, and account teams to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
- Assess existing DevOps processes, tools, and practices and recommend improvements.
- Design, present, implement, and govern DevOps solutions for complex Salesforce deployments.
- Lead DevOps design sessions, document best practices, and develop deployment frameworks and governance models.
- Drive tool selection and implementation and ensure successful continuous delivery across environments.
- Provide Salesforce project oversight and collaborate with Salesforce product teams on client implementations.
- Support pre-sales through discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept development.
- Use AI coding assistants to accelerate Salesforce Field Service, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, mobile, and integration development while maintaining security, performance, and platform standards.
- Travel to client sites as needed, estimated at 50–75%.
Requirements
- 10+ years of CRM experience, including at least 8 years on the Salesforce platform.
- Expertise across Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, Industries (Vlocity), and Data Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of environment management, release management, version control, deployment methodologies, branching strategies, and software configuration management.
- Experience with Salesforce Metadata API, SFDX, Salesforce CLI, Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, sandboxes, change sets, unlocked packages, and managed packages.
- Experience with Copado, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure Repos, and Chef.
- Experience with Docker image building, orchestration, pipelines, test automation, code quality tools, performance monitoring, and security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Provar, TOSCA, TestNG, Selenium, WebDriver, JUnit, JMeter, ApexUnit, SonarQube, Checkmarx, PMD, Salesforce Event Monitoring, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to obtain them upon hire.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively; experience may include leadership, military, volunteer, and professional experience.
