Responsibilities
- Design and implement cross-domain software-defined vehicle application software in C++ and Python for AUTOSAR Adaptive, Linux, and QNX environments.
- Develop service-oriented vehicle applications using SOME/IP, AUTOSAR services, DDS, Eclipse Zenoh, and publish-subscribe patterns.
- Implement vehicle signal adapters and API abstraction layers using COVESA VSS-compliant data models.
- Build OTA-aware features including feature flags, A/B activation, runtime configuration, and rollback-safe behavior.
- Integrate AUTOSAR Adaptive services including service discovery, lifecycle management, and structured logging.
- Develop vehicle applications for driver monitoring, cabin environment, predictive maintenance, and remote diagnostics.
- Build cloud-connected services with vehicle-to-cloud data pipelines, event-driven triggers, and bidirectional remote service invocation.
- Write unit, integration, and component tests with mocking for SDV application modules.
- Ensure compliance with MISRA C/C++ guidelines and use static analysis for code quality.
- Contribute to ASPICE SWE1–SWE3 requirements, architecture, and detailed-design documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is stated in the project requirements, with additional information requiring a minimum of 4 years in automotive embedded software or SDV platform development.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded application development in Linux or RTOS environments.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR Adaptive application-layer services, including ara::com, SOME/IP, DDS, ara::exec, ara::log, and manifest configuration.
- Understanding of service-oriented vehicle architectures, service discovery, publish-subscribe patterns, and API contract design.
- Familiarity with COVESA VSS or similar vehicle data-model standards.
- Experience with OTA-aware software design, feature toggles, A/B activation, configuration management, and graceful degradation.
- Knowledge of CMake, Bazel, Yocto, and OpenEmbedded recipe authoring.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Gerrit, code review, and automated test pipelines.
- Experience with Eclipse Zenoh, DDS, Fast DDS, Cyclone DDS, or MQTT is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker, OCI, Podman, and Kubernetes for automotive application hosting is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASIL allocation, software QM designation, and automotive cybersecurity principles including ISO/SAE 21434 is preferred.
- BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Embedded Systems Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
