Software Engineer - C++ Middleware

- Analyze requirements and realize functionality in the Android Automotive domain.
- Develop and own multiple Android Automotive modules and components.
- Modify Android framework components, system services, and the Android SDK.
- Deliver software for integration and support component ownership.
- Implement defined test strategies and document results.
- Perform pre-integration testing and verification for the assigned functional area.
- Collaborate in an agile cross-functional team and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience modifying Android framework components, system services, and the Android SDK.
- Overall 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Expert knowledge of the Android Framework, AOSP platform architecture, and related build systems.
- Strong understanding of Android Automotive System and the Car Framework.
- Strong understanding of Android components including Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, and Treble Architecture.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of software development and testing life cycles.
- Expertise or working knowledge in one or more in-vehicle infotainment system domains.
- Strong leadership, planning, organization, and mentoring skills.
