Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain embedded software applications for Bare Metal and Linux-based targets.
- Implement software using C, C++, Python, and Linux tools, including kernel configuration and driver development.
- Apply object-oriented development, test-driven development, software verification, coding standards, and quality practices.
- Support cybersecurity compliance by using security scan tools and remediating identified issues.
- Participate in planning, estimation, Agile Scrum ceremonies, documentation, and task execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, international, and multicultural teams to resolve technical issues and deliver projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience with hands-on coding across multiple technology stacks, including embedded software.
- Experience with formal software development processes, object-oriented development, test-driven development, and Bare Metal or Linux embedded environments.
- Experience with kernel configuration and driver development, plus solid C, C++, Python, and Linux skills.
- Understanding of cybersecurity issues and security scan tools.
- Angular and Electron experience for UI development is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, planning, estimation, decision-making, analytical, and cross-cultural working abilities.
