Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and realize functionality in the Android Automotive domain.
  • Develop and own multiple Android Automotive modules and components.
  • Deliver software for integration and ensure implementation of defined test strategies.
  • Perform pre-integration testing and verification, document results, and maintain requirement and feature traceability.
  • Triage and resolve defects and coordinate with other domains on feature and defect dependencies.
  • Mentor less experienced team members and support completion of their tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience with software lifecycle methodologies and collaboration in an agile cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong leadership, planning, organization, and mentoring skills.
  • Expert knowledge of the Android Framework, AOSP platform architecture, and related build systems.
  • 5+ years of experience modifying Android framework components, system services, and the Android SDK.
  • Understanding of Android Automotive systems and the Car Framework.
  • Strong understanding of Android Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, and Treble Architecture.
  • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and object-oriented programming.
  • Working knowledge in one or more mandatory IVI system domains.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
