Responsibilities

Build and operate secure AI coding environments, AI-assisted CI/CD capabilities, agentic AWS workflows, and reusable platform components.
Design, build, run, and continuously improve internal platform products for developer customers.
Identify developer friction, improve the developer experience, and measure adoption of shipped platform capabilities.
Own technical topics end to end, including planning, stakeholder communication, architecture, and delivery.
Shape platform foundations involving Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code on AWS, and AI capabilities.
Maintain platform reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency while participating in the on-call rotation and troubleshooting incidents.
Create reusable patterns, templates, and blueprints that help the organization build software faster.

Typically 5+ years of experience building and operating infrastructure or platform products.
Hands-on experience using LLM APIs, tool or function calling, retrieval, agents, or agent frameworks in real workflows.
Daily familiarity with modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
Strong AWS fundamentals and appreciation for Infrastructure as Code and Pipeline as Code.
Experience with developer experience, product-oriented platform development, communication, collaboration, testing, debugging, code quality, and production readiness.
Familiarity with SRE and DevOps principles and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or OpsGenie.
Strong coding ability in at least one language, ideally Python, Go, or TypeScript.
Ability to turn ambiguous problems into working solutions with sensible scope and drive initiatives to completion.

The base salary range is CAD 130,000–160,000, with potential additional benefits, bonus, and other employee offerings.
