Responsibilities

Build and own backend services, infrastructure, and data systems for a trading platform.
Develop services supporting order issuance, validation, routing, execution, option price calculation, and reconciliation.
Solve complex scalability challenges while maintaining high performance, low latency, and fault tolerance.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality-focused development processes.
Deliver large technical projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
Maintain availability until 8:00 PM in Bulgaria to support collaboration with Pacific Time Zone teams and stakeholders.

At least 3 years of backend development experience.
Strong proficiency in Go or Python.
Solid understanding of system design principles.
Experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
Proven experience delivering large technical projects with cross-functional collaboration.
Strong focus on code quality and thorough code review processes.
B2+ English proficiency for communication with multicultural teams and a U.S. customer.
Fintech or trading experience is a plus.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Kubernetes, AWS or similar cloud platforms is a plus.
Experience with high-load systems, concurrent programming, and thread synchronization approaches is a plus.
