Base Salary
$72k - $129k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite into Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous security testing.
- Write and maintain Python, Java, and Bash automation scripts for application security workflows.
- Build testing capabilities and improve bug bounty triage using AI assistants and automation.
- Deploy and maintain containerized security testing environments using Docker and AWS.
- Partner with engineering teams to identify and remediate OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Triage bug bounty submissions and support critical incident response efforts.
- Perform ethical hacking and penetration testing against web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in application security, penetration testing, or DevSecOps engineering.
- Knowledge of web application architecture, REST and GraphQL APIs, and mobile application security.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CWEs, CVSS scoring, and manual vulnerability validation and exploitation.
- Experience configuring Burp Suite Professional and OWASP ZAP.
- Experience integrating security tools into Jenkins and GitLab CI pipelines.
- Proficiency writing and maintaining Python and Bash automation scripts.
- Experience with Docker and deploying or managing applications in AWS; EC2 and Linux experience is a plus.
- Ability to explain security vulnerabilities and remediation importance to software engineers.
- Experience using AI assistants such as Gemini or Claude Code for scripting, debugging, or productivity.
