Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors.
- Demonstrate Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, including demos, proofs of concept, solution design, and implementation.
- Develop technical champions and help drive technical wins in customer accounts.
- Explain Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, ecosystem partners, and implementation partners.
- Build joint architectures, contribute to account and territory plans, and support account strategies.
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.
Requirements
- Solution engineering or solution architecture experience in a SaaS environment or relevant analytics, data science, or data engineering experience.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on SQL experience.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
- Fluency or native proficiency in Dutch.
- Preferred: hands-on Python experience.
- Preferred: experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Preferred: experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies.
