Base Salary
$118k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and support automation solutions for efficient and consistent code building and deployment.
- Own, optimize, and troubleshoot the program’s CI/CD pipeline and associated build-chain tools.
- Identify manual processes for automation and recommend strategy and infrastructure improvements.
- Support automated testing, real-time testing, and diagnostics within virtualized environments.
- Mentor engineers and solve critical technical problems with innovative solutions.
- Work onsite in a lab environment in Sterling, Virginia.
Requirements
- Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance or higher is required before the start date.
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Coverity, Nexus, Artifactory, Splunk, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP and VLANs, with experience configuring network devices or virtual networks.
- Preferred experience includes Red Hat OpenShift, VMware, OpenStack, cloud networking, RESTful APIs, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms.
- Security or networking certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CCNA are preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with program leaders and contributors.
