Base Salary
$118k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead DevOps engineer for a team developing new simulation systems across architecture, design, integration, testing, and field support.
- Coordinate with Systems, Software, and Cyber teams to develop and update build processes and deployment environments.
- Develop automation that enables efficient and consistent code builds and deployments.
- Own the program release process and establish reliable change-management procedures for customer artifact delivery.
- Identify and maintain the program software toolchain.
- Support continuous integration for real-time testing and diagnostics in virtualized environments.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance, current before the start date; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance.
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GitLab, Coverity, and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with Docker or Podman containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Preferred experience includes modeling and simulation frameworks, training systems, requirements management with Jama, and systems engineering artifacts using Use Cases, SysML, and Cameo.
- Preferred knowledge includes TCP/IP, VLANs, network device or virtualized network configuration, Linux environments, Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe, and development IDEs such as Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
- Preferred certifications include Security+, CISSP, or equivalent and CCNA or equivalent.
- Preferred experience includes application development and integration with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or VMware Cloud infrastructure or services.
