Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead DevOps engineer for a team developing new simulation systems across the full product lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Systems, Software, and Cyber teams to develop and maintain build processes and deployment environments.
- Develop automation solutions that enable efficient and consistent code builds and deployments.
- Own the program release process and establish reliable change-management processes for delivering artifacts to customers.
- Identify and maintain the program’s software toolchain and ensure required tools are available.
- Create implementation plans from requirements and designs and serve as the DevOps focal point for program leaders, customers, and contributors.
- Support continuous integration for real-time testing and diagnostics within virtualized environments.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, an advanced degree and at least 3 years of experience, or at least 8 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required before start; active Secret clearance must exist on day one, and U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
- Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GitLab, Coverity, and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with Docker or Podman containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Preferred experience with modeling and simulation frameworks, training systems, requirements development using Jama, and systems engineering artifacts using Use Cases, SysML, and Cameo.
- Preferred knowledge of TCP/IP and VLANs, including configuring network devices or virtualized network environments.
- Preferred experience in Linux environments, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and cloud infrastructure or services.
- Security or networking certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CCNA are preferred.
