Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create technical design specifications aligned with product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance and platform convergence across engineering initiatives.
- Plan feature delivery while balancing customer needs and organizational health.
- Identify application improvements and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist, mentor, and provide technical direction to development staff.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and support consistent engineering quality.
- Guide technical discussions, facilitate decisions, and communicate with executives, peers, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Translate AI innovation into business and engineering productivity impact.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and at least 5 years of .NET full-stack development experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, with 15 years of full-time education required.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, or enhancing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Significant system engineering experience involving analytical systems design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Fluency in DevOps concepts and experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS and Azure, preferably in multi-cloud environments.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, with flexibility for the right candidate.
